What we are looking for
Our work is intellectually demanding and our remuneration package is generous. We therefore require pupils of the highest academic calibre, personality and ambition. As we prefer to select our junior tenants from amongst our pupils, we are looking for those who have the potential to make a real contribution to the future of chambers.
As well as considering your academic record, we look for personality, all-round ability and commitment. You should be:
- bright and intelligent
- enthusiastic
- committed
- motivated to succeed
- practical
- commercially aware
- a good communicator
Equal Opportunities
The policy of Hardwicke Building is to offer equal opportunities to all staff, members of Chambers, pupils and applicants regardless of citizenship, colour, disability, ethnic origin, marital status, nationality or national origin, political persuasion, race, religion, sex or sexual orientation. Chambers has implemented all mandatory and recommended essential sections of the Equality Code for the Bar and adopts most of its procedural recommendations.
